As part of the plans to save £134M over the next four years, we need to develop more efficient ways of working so that we can deliver an effective police service to the communities of Greater Manchester. This includes looking at ways to modernise how you make contact with us.

We recognise that being able to access the police service is important to the public, which is why we are asking for your views on the future delivery of policing in Greater Manchester.

We are also proposing changes to the way we deliver partnership working across the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester.

This includes continuing to embed neighbourhood policing within our communities, ensuring local officers can work more closely with Home Watch and Pub Watch groups and build more links with local communities.
